Goed nieuws voor dronefotografen die hun fotografie-skills naar een hoger niveau willen tillen: de gerenommeerde Harvard University heeft haar opleiding digitale fotografie onlangs gratis ter beschikking gesteld. De cursus bestaat uit 13 onderdelen, waarin onder andere zaken als belichting, kleurbalans, licht, software, retoucheren en histogrammen aan de orde komen.
De opleiding werd opgesteld door de Graduate School of Design, waar bekende architecten en ontwerpers als Rem Koolhaas, Zaha Hadid en Walter Gropius afstudeerden. De cursus is beschikbaar via e-learning platform ALISON en kan gevolgd worden zonder dat je je ergens voor hoeft te registreren of te betalen.
De opleiding gaat weliswaar niet in op luchtfotografie en dronefotografie in het bijzonder, maar toch kan het nooit kwaad om de basics van digitale fotografie onder de knie te hebben als je in de weer gaat met je drone. De cursus is wel Engelstalig, maar dat zal voor de meeste Nederlanders geen probleem zijn. Als je de opleiding in z’n geheel doorloopt dan kost je dat zo’n 10-15 uur.
